The screen charge is a 'one-off' expense because we keep the screen in case you need a repeat order of printed T-shirts. If you need to order more without changing the design, you don't pay for the screen again.
When we print onto coloured shirts it's usually necessary to print a white backing first (this is called 'underbasing') then the design itself, otherwise your design may not be bold enough. This obviously involves making two screens and printing the shirt twice (for a single-colour print) so it can make coloured shirts a fair bit more expensive than white ones.

If you have printing in two places on your garment then we'll need to make two screens if it's white clothing or four if it's coloured.

When it comes to screen-printing, T-shirts are our speciality but we can also print on a whole lot f other items - polo shirts, hoodies, baseball caps, T-towels, aprons, sashes, gloves etc. etc. We even print T-shirts for teddy bears and supply the bears themselves....

If you'd prefer embroidery rather than print on your garment - no problem. Our state-of-the-art embroidering machines print at 1,000 stitches a minute and we can produce fast monogramming with over 100 fonts to choose from.

Transfer or screen print? If you're thinking of having polo shirts, baseball caps, hoodies or Tshirts printed for your business or charity, you can choose between screen print or transfer print. Screen printing involves making a plastic mesh, through which the ink is squeezed onto the fabric. The screen takes time and materials to produce and therefore a certain cost is involved. That cost applies whether you are printing one item or one thousand... Transfer print works in a different way. It involves making a transfer onto a paper-like material, which is then fused onto the fabric using a heat process. The cost is very low and you pay same for transfer prints whether your image is one colour or full colour. So if you need, say, eight or ten shirts, you'll fnd that transfer print will be the most cost-effective.
